The New PH Unite: The 7th MEGA Pinoy Pride Ball
The Mindset Revolution Continues
A night of celebration of the Filipino excellence
The Philippines’ best fashion magazine, Mega Magazine, recently held its seventh annual MEGA Pinoy Pride Ball on the very same day the country celebrated its 118th year of independence.
The New PH Unite stage in all its glory and formidable appearance
A culmination of the nation’s best and brightest talents, The New PH Unite aims to honor Filipinos who have made positive influences and tangible changes to the country through their respective crafts. From performers, designers, visionaries to business magnates, this year’s roster of awardees have all achieved the stature of being industry luminaries, all while being bounded by their commitment to put the Filipino brand at the center of the global arena.
As expected, the red carpet arrival was graced with a flurry of celebrities and personalities; from showbiz talents Janine Gutierrez, Julia Barretto, Sam Concepcion, Kiana Valenciano, Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica to industry heavyweights such as Tim Yap, Tessa Prieto-Valdez and Julius Babao. Clad in their bespoke suits, renowned fashion designers like Cary Santiago, Rajo Laurel, Avel Bacudio and Frederick Peralta also attended the event.
Like in any setting of this magnitude, a palatial venue able to house a crowd of only the industry’s influential personalities was unspeakably needed. Held at the newly opened Shangri-La at the Fort, the gathering exuded an atmospheric sense of charm and opulence; from its towering façade to the grand ballroom that served as the night’s mecca.
After the cocktails and exchanges of well-wishes, then came the multicourse dinner specially created for the night’s brightest stars. Shortly after, the awarding ceremony began and one by one, each MEGA Pinoy Pride awardee received their trophies, elated at being given the incredible opportunity to be recognized for their outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
