Converse and Mega Man Magazine welcomed the year with a complete bang for its first-ever fashion and music festival geared towards the fashion-forward and music-loving individuals of today’s millennial scene.
Aside from the music, the event, held at the Burgos Park in Forbes Town, BGC, introduced Converse and Mega Man Magazine’s roster of Men of Style Awardees. The awardees were composed of fashion-forward men recognized by Converse and Mega Man for their unique sense of style and for their sterling accomplishments in their respective fields.

After 109 years as the undisputed symbol of essential sneakers, Converse also presented the show with its generational movement #ForeverChuck; through a fashion show that captured how the global brand had transcended time to remain timeless and enduring as it always had been.
After this year’s Men of Style awardees and #ForeverChuck models stormed the runway with the classic style of Converse, then came the final event: the much-anticipated collision of fashion with music. Four university student bands: De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s St. Wolf; Far Eastern University’s The Subspring; U.P. Diliman’s Sour Cheeks; and University of Santo Tomas’ Papapeta, all took the stage and rocked the crowd with their original music.
For the main event, the country’s top-selling bands all took the stage to close out the show and conclude the gathering of dynamic individuals: Mayonnaise, Kjwan and the final act, Silent Sanctuary. The three bands rocked both music lovers and fashion savants to their absolute core, giving a thrilling conclusion to the fashion and music gathering of the world’s most timeless shoe brand.
