On the 27th of March, the Philippines’ Best Fashion Magazine celebrated 25 monumental years of an icon that has single-handedly revolutionized the country’s fashion landscape forever. An icon that continues to cast its influence over the fashion-forward realm it has greatly pioneered.
Widely touted as its silver anniversary, MEGA prepared to take on another quarter-century of pushing boundaries and trends by celebrating its 25th anniversary silver gala with the very designers, cover stars, photographers, and partners it has collaborated with in the past. True to form, the event represented a new era of telling meaningful stories and inspiring modern Filipinas to be their own elegant, sophisticated, and trendsetting selves.

Held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel, the gala embraced the past and chronicled recollections of MEGA’s rich heritage brimming with milestones and an enduring legacy that has resonated with every generation. This was first told through an exhibit showing the evolution of the magazine’s covers throughout the years, the highlight of which included the original copy of Sari Yap’s thesis, widely considered to be the blueprint to the magazine she built and pioneered.
