A thriving multi-hyphenate of different creative pursuits — from singing, acting to dancing — the 24-year-old actress continues to hold the interest of fans and detractors alike with every stride. And on March 23rd, nestled at the tropical-inspired setting of Flossom Kitchen + Café in San Juan, Nadine continued to expand her empire by adding a new title to her brimming portfolio: a chief creative designer.

BYS' Chief Creative Designer for Lustrous, Nadine Lustre
Lustrous, a beauty collaboration between Nadine and international cosmetics brand BYS, held its inaugural launch to an exclusive party attended by the country’s top fashion and beauty publications and personalities.
Dubbed as the “Limited Edition,” the collection, designed and formulated by Nadine and BYS, was inspired by the morena beauty’s love for everyday effortless makeup and affinity for all things that shimmer.

The event, hosted by fellow BYS Ambassador Kiana Valenciano, served as a celebration for Lustrous’ arrival and the addition of Nadine to the BYS family. More than just being contemporaries, Kiana exclaimed her elation at finally being “BYS Besties” with real-life pal Nadine.
In their speeches, IFace President & CEO Tony Chua and Marketing Director Mike Carandang both emphasized the unique feat of BYS’ collaboration with Nadine — marking the first time the global beauty giant has decided to partner with a celebrity anywhere in the world. IFace, which is the exclusive distributor of BYS in the country, also hinted at three more upcoming collections for Lustrous in 2018.

For the main highlight of the event, the guests, all dressed in their tropical-themed ensembles, had the privilege of trying on the Limited Edition collection for the first time. Nadine took the time to personally interact with every guest, gamely posing for photo requests and one-on-one interviews.
Curated flat lays, shiny swatches, and beauty demos of the products all served for a luminous Lustrous experience — just as Nadine and BYS had intended.
Lustrous will be available on April 15th at select Watsons and SM Beauty Stores nationwide.
