From inspiring men all over the world to always go for great, STR8 Fragrances marked its highly anticipated arrival to the Philippines with a one-of-a-kind multisensorial party at The Peninsula Manila’s famed Salon De Ning.

 

As the first country in the world to release STR8’s newest lineup of fragrances, STR8 Philippines’ exclusive media launch proved to be as high profile as its global ambassador, NBA All-Star Player Giannis Antetokounmpo. Upon arriving, guests were ecstatically welcomed by the Milwaukee Bucks superstar himself through an exclusive and personal video greeting.

True to STR8’s “Go for Great” campaign, the event indeed went all for great. The guests, a mix of basketball players, key influencers and personalities in the industry and the media were welcomed into Salon De Ning’s awe-inspiring parlor with scrumptious delights and drinks. The program officially started with the host, Martin Javier from ABS-CBN Sports & Action, welcoming honored guests in the form of various top players from the country’s top basketball leagues: PBA, UAAP, NCAA, MPBL and Gilas Pilipinas; Mr. World Philippines titleholders; esteemed men from the lifestyle and fashion scene; and key personalities from the media.

 

 The men of the hard courts gathered to celebrate taking risks and reaching for your dreams. 

 

 

Designed as a highly multisensorial event catered to the different senses, the event had seven vignettes that represented each of the distinctive new scent lineup – Original, Red Code, Adventure, Hero, Live True, Rise, and Ahead.

Inspired by every gentleman’s taste, style and elegance, the Original room featured a James Bond-inspired model clad in bespoke suit and emboldened by the scent’s classic status. For the born fighter, Hero’s live vignette exhibited a strong and fearless boxer to represent the timeless aroma of the scent. For Red Code, the room was sensually bathed in the color of crimson and depicted a romantic gentleman for every lady. Meanwhile for the adventurous men of the great outdoors, the Adventure and Live True rooms showed explorers – Traveler and Surfer, respectively – with an unstoppable desire to discover nature.

Following the remarks of Tony Chua, CEO of Iface Incorporated, the two last scents – Rise and Ahead – were unveiled as part of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s special collection. It was then accompanied with a closing message by the Greek Freak himself, as he declared his mission to inspire young men to follow their dreams without hesitation and to always go for great.

 

 

Before the night ended, one very special guest arrived — Edward Barber, the country's first and newest local ambassador for STR8 Philippines.

Soon afterwards, the night went on, with the guests rallying to the different rooms to catch a whiff of the STR8 experience, styled and scented for their overall multisensorial experience.
